General Information
Adults Only. Self-catering cabins. Self-check-in and checkout. Very peaceful and isolated location. No interaction with any other guests. No shared areas. Each cabin overlaps the 3-acre lake. The site is situated in between Boston and Skegness and only 3 miles from the sea-‘The Wash’. Ideal for Fishing, relaxing and Contractors are welcome. Lavender and Sunflower Lodge are brand new (Jan 2021) they both have 2 bathrooms including a bath aswell as a shower. Those 2 lodges also have a dishwasher.
Kingfisher Lodge
3 Bedroom
Kingfisher Lodge is situated furthest to the right of the other 3 cabins. Sleeps 3 couples. It boasts 3 lovely bedrooms containing 1 double bed and 2 kingsize beds dressed with beautiful freshly laundered bedding. Home from home, rustic vibe. Feels like visiting a peaceful safe haven. Every guest that has stayed, always return. All of your troubles disappear are the comments we hear. Maybe because of the peaceful ambience of the cabins integrating into the stunning calming beauty of the lake and the soothing nature sounds. Kingfisher Lodge has a very comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs, coffee table and dining table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything. Don’t forget to bring your slippers and a book or two, or your fishing equipment, or even your camera to get that perfect shot for your album.
Lavender Lodge
2 Bedroom
Lavender Lodge is the lodge on the very end with Sunflower to the left spaced quite far apart. Boasting a very large veranda allowing you to fish from. There are glass balustrades around the decking to shade from the wind. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 2 couples or 2 single guests. 2 bathrooms – 1 bath and 1 shower. Free WiFi, Free Netflix, Free Fishing and Free parking. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. We provide bed linen, towels, toilet roll, tea towels, kitchen rolls, bin bags, tea, coffee, sugar, cleaning products and hand soap. Lots of wardrobe hanging space and drawers.
Sunflower Lodge
2 Bedroom
Sunflower Lodge is 2nd in from the right with Kingfisher lodge to the left and Sunflower to the right spaced quite far apart. Boasting a very large veranda allowing you to fish from. There are glass balustrades around the decking to shade from the wind. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 2 couples or 2 single guests. 2 bathrooms – 1 bath and 1 shower. Contemporary and comfortable.
All Cabins overlap the beautiful 3-acre fishing lake. You have a very large veranda to fish from or simply sit back and chill soaking up the surrounding sounds of nature. This is a quiet retreat so no loud parties/music etc.
The fish in the lake are in pristine condition as we do not allow day ticket fishing, so no mouths ripped to shreds, etc. Only experienced Fishing people with a valid rod license to fish the lake, please.
Species of fish in the lake are:
Carp, Bream, Barbell, Tench, Roach, Rudd and perch. The biggest caught was a 36lb Grass Carp. The average catch is 12lb Carp. All fish are to be returned alive and unharmed back to the lake. You can also bring a bivvy to set up anywhere around the lake.
The best feature, apart from the cabins, for me, is the views and the Sun Set – magical!
Cabin Rules
Please call when you are 5-10mins away. No earlier than 15.00. Amy will simply guide you to your Lodge. Please make sure you are on Cowbroads Lane as some SatNavs take you to the opposite road.
Adults Only. No Pets. Anyone arriving with children or pets will be asked to leave the site immediately with NO refund. No one to exceed the berth limitations, i.e, sharing beds or sleeping on sofas, etc. No swimming in the lake, playing loud music, or harming any wildlife or fish. No Parties
Only persons listed on the registration form may occupy the accommodation allocated.
No one can sleep on the sofas.
No extra people other than what cabin can sleep. No all-same sex ‘parties’ sharing beds. For example, if there are 6 men booking a 3-bedroom cabin, this is NOT allowed without prejudice. Only 3 single lads as parties not allowed. You will be asked to leave without a refund.
No visitors of guests can sleepover or fish, or use any facilities etc.
Associated Bookings – You must tell us when you book if your booking is connected to any other booking on the site, for example, because you know the people making a booking or you share a common purpose in visiting the park.
The number of persons allowed in all accommodation booked is restricted to the number of berths in the accommodation. Beds are not available in the lounge areas, no sleeping on sofas, all cabins cannot exceed the berth limitation!!
If you are fishing, please make sure you have a valid fishing license, and anyone found harming or stealing fish will be prosecuted. Barbless Hooks Only. No keepnets. No Tigernut bait. Use landing mats/cradles and make sure you have a large enough landing net for the larger fish.

You will be charged 50% of the total price if you cancel after the reservation and charged the total reservation (100%) if you cancel within the 7 days of arrival date.
